Embodiment: My 2025 Word of the Year

I’m definitely one of those girls who decides a new word each year. It’s the word that describes the theme around my goals, and reminds me to make decisions from a place of truth.

As I reflect on the year ahead, one word comes to mind: Embodiment. This word resonates deeply with me because it represents the bridge between intention and action, thought and being, vision and reality.

I’ve gained clarity on what I truly want: a life of freedom, faith, love, and alignment with my highest self. But clarity without action feels incomplete. Embodiment is about taking my dreams, intentions, and values and bringing them to life—not just in what I do, but in how I am.

2025 is the year I move from knowing to living. It’s about allowing my values to infuse every aspect of my life, from my relationships and creative projects to my health and professional goals.

Embodiment is an invitation to show up as my highest and aligned self. Although the environment may change, I am still me. As a Leader, Wife, Friend, and Writer— everyday is an invitation to be the best version of me in all these areas.

This word challenges me to embrace discipline, presence, and vulnerability as I take my next steps. It also reminds me to celebrate the small wins—the moments when I feel truly aligned and alive in my purpose.

An Invitation for You

If you’ve ever felt stuck between where you are and where you want to be, consider asking yourself: What would embodiment look like for me? Choosing this word has already brought a sense of clarity and momentum to my life, and I hope it inspires you to explore your own next steps.

Here’s to a year of living fully, authentically, and with purpose. May we all embody the lives we were meant to live.
